GEMS Interactive Brochure and Poster (AR)
Design for an interactive brochure and augmented reality interactive poster for GEMS. Girls Education and Mentoring Services (GEMS) is a non-profit organization that provides services to commercially sexually exploited and domestically trafficked girls and young women, typically underage youth exploited by pimps and traffickers. I created an accordion fold informational brochure and accompanying poster which will have interactive Augmented Reality (AR) features. Additionally, I redesigned the organizations existing logo. The design approach is constructed to be appealing to girls and women ages 12-24. The triangular design elements are inspired by GEMS 3 step program, Victim, Survivor, Leader. The design is made impactful, yet approachable by pairing harsh angles and photographic elements with more inviting hand lettering details.
2019
